Every year, welding technology improves and new welding procedures and technologies are being introduced, allowing metals to be joined with greater capability. Welding has a virtually limitless range of applications. Welding is utilised in almost every industry. Almost everything we use in our everyday lives is welded or created with welded equipment. Arc welding is a metal-joining fusion welding method. An electric arc generated by an AC or DC power supply generates a high temperature of roughly 6500°F, melting the metal at the joint between two work parts. A shielding gas, vapour, or slag is frequently used to protect the welding region. Manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated arc welding methods are available. It is still used in the construction of steel structures and automobiles today.
Welding is still evolving, and this book will equip readers with the knowledge they need to keep up. It gives people involved in welding and those in charge of welding operations all the information they need. The goal of this book is to introduce well-established procedures and techniques that have been investigated, developed, and utilised in various sectors and researches. Conventional welding processes, advanced welding techniques, brazing and welding of different metals will all be discussed as state-of-the-art development targeted at advancing technologies. This book also aims to give engineers and researchers interested in arc material processing with practical solutions to a variety of problems.
